Award winning coastal Maine restaurant seeking, creative, motivated, sincere leader to add to our team family, a Head Chef who will continue and increase the preparation of food quality and uniqueness of a scratch kitchen  (farm to table is so over used),  of an eclectic International/American menu. As owners we encourage a “have-at-it” creative spirit (caveat – no Sea Urchins, LOL, unless NYE) to meet and exceed the  accolades of -Best Brunch of the Seacoast, OpenTable 4.3-4.7, TripAdviser  4.5+ & Certificate of Excellence 2016-2018. We prepare outstanding and consistent quality with the goal of guest satisfaction. Accolades and awards are best made from our guests. We have a very desirable large kitchen cooking area with enviable equipment and tools, separate bakery room, 2 large walk-ins, large storage areas.  FOH co-workers have been long term + 6 yrs, and BOH 4-8 yrs, and are one unit working together for the same goals.  The responsibilities are:  creative menu development in conjunction with the hands-on working owners, staff training/hiring and development, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control and utilities management. On-line cooking and expediting a must.  Being located in a resort area on the seacoast of Maine, our season is balls to the walls, Mid June to Mid Sept, 7 days a week. As the seasonal season changes, we close 2 days a week, Mondays and Tuesdays.  We are open 52 weeks of the year. November to April is twittle your thumbs time frame, while getting our locals to come once weekly with a themed weekly menu.  It is also time to salvage the wounds from the 12 weeks of summer…and spend times with loved ones, if there are any left.  Finally, 2 things: we walk into the restaurant every day, and want to be smiling along side all of our co-workers and if there is someone who would like to take over the operations, we could be reasonably looking at retirement.  Cheers, Rob and Aldo Oh, and PS.
