Melissa Kelly graduated #1 in her class from the Culinary Institute of America. The protégé of renown chef’s Larry Forgione and Alice Waters, Melissa is the first ever, two-time winner of the prestigious James Beard award for Best Chef Northeast. Foodies regularly reserve tables month’s in advance to dine at her renown PRIMO Restaurants in Rockland ME, Orlando, FL & Tucson, AZ. A pioneer in restaurant sustainability, full circle kitchen principles, and sourcing food from local family farms and fisheries, Melissa will be incorporating all these practices into the launch of “deliver-only” locations of her famous PRIMO restaurant brand in selective US cities nationwide. Returning to her Long Island roots, Melissa's first location is set to open in Huntington, NY in the Spring of 2021.
