|Position Description:||The Opportunity:|
Culinary Concepts Hospitality Group is looking for a Pastry cook to join our winning team at Spice Market, New York. The Pastry cook will work closely with the Pastry Chef on production of desserts, confections, ice creams and fancy pastries. The Pastry Cook will assist in implementing the standards and the culinary vision of CCHG. Prepare pastry and dessert items for buffet, banquet and restaurant use according to standard recipes. Properly store all pastry items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness.

- Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship
- 1-2 years' experience as a Pastry cook
- Food handling certificate
- Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Ability to stand during an entire shift
- Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object
