Restaurant General Manager

Position Description:We are seeking a General Manager to launch an exciting new restaurant which will be a culinary destination. This position requires a strong people person with a background in training, a tough but empathetic style, experience in restaurant process and service, inventory management, food cost controls and staff management, including front of house, head chef and his team, maitre'd and service staff. Additionally, he/she must have experience with inventory and procurement.

Looking for a highly competent and skilled individual with the character and leadership abilities needed to create a positive environment, promoting consistently high standards and a strong work ethic. Must have a collaborative approach and an ability to direct operations.

Requirements:
Must have work experience managing a high end restaurant renowned for both service and food
Minimum 5 years management experience
Experience opening a new signature restaurant with a new concept
Adept at improving service by providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed

  
Company Profile:The Cakebread Ranch is nestled on 300 acres in the Star Valley in Thayne County, Wyoming, an hour outside Jackson Hole, with 4 miles of the Salt River running through the property. There are 40 head of Wagyu cattle, an organic farm, lush lavender fields and pristine meadows with mountain vistas. In the summer of 2014 a destination restaurant will open featuring wood fired cooking and farm to table cuisine.
