City Lobster is seeking passionate and hardworking back of house staff members.
Restaurant is located in Midtown Manhattan in the heart of Rockefeller Center / Theater District
Specialize in delicacies such as Live North Atlantic Lobsters, Alaskan King Crab Legs, and authentic Maryland Lump Crab Cakes.
Full raw bar with assortment of Oysters from the East and West coasts, In addition, our a la carte menu offers the finest contemporary New American seafood.
- Manage, motivate and lead all back of house staff.
-Ensure quality, consistency and excellence of all high-end new American seafood cuisine.
-Food cost, labor cost and applicable operating expense management
-Commitment to highest standards of food safety, sanitation and cleanliness
-Uphold all workplace standards, policies and procedures
-Assist in menu development and planning, provisioning, and preparation
-Continual training and mentoring of staff and front and back of house
-Culinary grad degree or equivalent experience
-Strong cooking and expediting skills with a willingness to work the line
-Effective communication skills, with emphasis in maintaining quality controls
-At least 3 years NYC experience in a similar position
-Strong organizational, supervisory, and administrative skills
-Willingness to work long hours
-New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Certificate
