|Position Description:||We are seeking an entry level line cook for Restaurant Beck on the Beautiful Oregon Coast. Chef / Owner Justin Wills as been twice nominated for Best Chef: NW by the James Beard Foundation in 2012 & 2013, been named by 'Best Chef's America' in 2013 & 2014, and was nominated by Food and Wine Magazine in 2010 for Peoples Best New Chef. |
The food is progressive in nature using only foraged, locally farmed, and locally fished ingredients. The menu changes daily, which includes our a'la carte menu and our five and seven course tasting menus. Our ideal candidate must have at least one year fine dining experience in a comparable kitchen; a culinary degree is not needed, but basic knife skills and a base knowledge of classic technique is a must.
Integrity is of the utmost importance. This is an entry level position for someone who wants to have a career in restaurants / kitchens. Please email resume. Interns will be considered also.
