|Position Description:||STARR Restaurants is currently seeking a high-level Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our Contemporary Mexican cuisine restaurant EL VEZ set to open in NYC this Spring. The successful candidate should have a progressive culinary background and understand the diversity, fine touches, bold flavors and unique finesse of true Mexican cuisine. |

In this role Executive Chef has full responsibility for execution of all food production; overseeing quality, technique, portion, presentation, food cost, menu pricing and menu innovation.
-MUST have prior Exec Chef , CDC or Exec Sous Chef experience directing a team at a Mexican/Spanish/Latin cuisine restaurant
-Minimum of 5 - 7 years Industry and Culinary Management experience
-Culinary focused Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
-Prior experience as an Exec Chef who has built menus and assembled teams for the opening of a restaurant highly preferred
