A+M Ventures, the restaurant group behind Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen and Hog & Hominy, seeks Back of House employees. Our restaurant group seeks cooks of all levels who want to work in a passionate kitchen alongside our dedicated, creative staff in order to grow as cooks and chefs.
Our company's current growth calls for new line cooks and sous chefs. For line cooks, qualified candidates should have at least 1 year cooking experience. For sous chefs, qualified candidates should have strong organizational skills, familiarity with inventory control protocols, and experience in a management position with seasonal menu development.
Requirements for line cook position: -at least 1 year of experience in the position -high standards of excellence -ability to maintain well prepped and clean station -passion for the craft
Requirements for sous chef position: -computer proficiency, including excel databases and microsoft word -organizational skills -experience with food and labor costs -leadership skills
