|Position Description:||We are searching for an executive chef for a steak and seafood restaurant. All applicants should have 4 years experience as a sous chef, chef de cuisine, and/or executive chef. Your experience should be heavy in steak and seafood. You should be completely comfortable and competent in developing a menu, including costing out all items on said menu. |
Executive chef will be responsible for tracking inventory and making sure food costs fall within budget and that we are not wasting food. Executive chef will be responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling all BOH members. You will also be ultimately responsible for tracking and maintaining BOH labor. Ordering, supervising, and maintaining positive relationships with service providers and vendors will also be a major function of our new executive chef.
We are looking for a self motivated person who wants to "own" their kitchen. Compensation will be competitive with industry standards and based on experience and ability. Compensation will include health insurance, eight paid holidays, and vacation.
