|Position Description:||Fine Dining Restaurant in DC in search of a qualified, skilled Pastry Chef to create and implement a 7--10 item menu of plated desserts using seasonal and local ingredients. Must be able to create ice creams, sorbets, chocolates and breads. Management experience is necessary. |
Strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a desire to work closely with the Executive Chef, General Manager and kitchen team. The Pastry Chef should have a passion for the business and a yearning to grow their pastry education. Familiarity with completing inventory, menu costing and ordering of ingredients and supplies is a must.
