|Position Description:||Casual Wicker Park restaurant seeks Executive Chef to lead its kitchen. Our new chef will take over management of all back of house operations, including but not limited to creating menus, maintenance of quality control and consistency, maintenance of cost controls and management of back of house staff and operations.|
Ideal candidates should have:
A Passion for food and the restaurant industry. A love for and dedication to food service.
Minimum of 3 years kitchen management experience
Effective communication skills. English fluency required, Spanish fluency a plus.
Purchasing experience including ordering, receiving, inventory and cost analysis.
Experience with writing schedules and maintaining labor costs.
Computer skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Competitive Compensation and benefits package is based on candidate's experience level.
