The Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott located at 1 Hotel Rd., Newark, NJ 07114 is currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager (Job # 13000SSJ)
The Restaurant Manager supervises daily Food and Beverage (F&B) shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures. Manages day-to-day operations verifying that the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. Maintains the operating budget, and verifies that standards and legal obligations are followed. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
Education and Experience
-High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
-2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
-Knowledge of working with multiple high volume outlets is preferred.
