Hemenways Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar, one of Providence?s premier dining destinations, is looking for a passionate, talented and motivated Executive Chef, committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience to their guests. The right candidate is a creative and highly motivated individual able to lead our team of professionals.
In addition to advanced culinary skills the individual must have experience in cost controls with the ability to budget and coordinate staff in a high volume environment. We are seeking a true leader who is professionally polished with a strong work ethic. The Executive Chef is responsible for seasonal menu design, costing, ordering, scheduling, and training the kitchen staff to ensure a consistent product.
A minimum of 5 years of previous experience as an Executive Chef in a high volume, full service establishment is required for consideration. Culinary Arts degree preferred, but we will hire candidates with exceptional experience.
