Seeking General Manager for opening of the much-anticipated Boston-born Toro Restaurant from acclaimed Chefs, James Beard Winner, Ken Oringer and Food and Wine's Best New Chef, Jamie Bissonnette.
Housed in the former Nabisco Baking Company Factory in South Chelsea, the Barcelona-style tapas restaurant will serve both authentic and innovative Spanish style food with an emphasis on market ingredients and homemade charcuterie in a rustic yet sultry 120-seat dining room. Carefully curated wines and spirits celebrating Spanish and Latin roots along with seasonal cocktails will be crafted and poured at the 25' bar.
Toro is Oringer's and Bissonnette's first restaurant in New York City, but expect the same level of excellence and creativity they have cultivated in their 2 partnerships to date, Toro and Coppa in Boston, as well as Oringer's other 4 Bostonian restaurants: Clio, Uni, La Verdad and Earth.
Candidates must have at least 3 years experience as a General Manager. Spanish food and wine knowledge a plus. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is driven, passionate, highly motivated and a self-starter who is not afraid to think outside the box to join our team!
