Executive Chef
Company Name:Ayrshire Farm, LC
This position requires candidates to have a US work permit. Please do not apply if you are not legally able to work in the United States.
Applicants to this position must reside within a 90 mile radius of the property.
Position Description:For innovative dynamic Farm-to-Fork operation with commissary kitchen and restaurant.

Scope of Responsibilities Include:

-Training kitchen staff in cooking/presentation/sanitation maintaining highest quality standards while meeting profitability goals

-Training restaurant/dining room staff to uphold service standards & presentation

-Menu planning and recipe development within company guidelines & seasonal availability

-Always working to improve kitchen production

-Inventory, food and supply ordering, managing food and labor budgets

Requirements Include:

-3-5 years managing a food service department in the hospitality industry
-MUST be an excellent cook (formal culinary training or degree preferred). Please do not apply if you do not have cooking experience
-Background in training and mentoring staff
-Demonstrated proficiency with budget management
-ServSafe qualified
-Basic computer skills
-Hands-on manager
-Drug screen and/or background check may be required prior to employment
Preferred Skills Include:
-Experience with planning menus and ordering all food and supplies
-Knowledge of food handling, preparation, service and operation of all kitchen equipment
-Focus on quality and customer service
