Private country club seeks experienced, qualified Sous Chef to assist with day-to-day kitchen operations and in leading a team of established staff that deliver high-quality, great tasting food. We provide high end a la carte breakfast, lunch & dinner service to for our membership as well as banquets, weddings & other functions on a daily basis. We are looking for an individual with a strong, creative a la carte background to support our executive chef & culinary team members and to play an important leadership role in the absence of the executive chef. Both contemporary & classical/international cuisines are represented on our menus & our specials. Team attitude is a must!
MUST ALSO HAVE: *Culinary Arts Degree from accredited college/university *10 years minimum cooking experience *3-5 years supervisory experience as Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Exec. Chef *Experience in high end establishments including clubs, hotels, cruise line, a la carte restaurant?s *Menu development and creation *Ingredient sourcing *Staff training and development *Banquet experience in a multi-dining room environment
