Position Description:Pier 290 is looking for a Sous Chef who is passionate about well prepared, real food, and scratch cooking.

Pier 290 is a uniquely American restaurant focused on clean flavors, fresh ingredients, and attentive service, located on the waterfront of Lake Geneva in Williams Bay, WI. We are seeking a strong, self-motivated leader to add to our culinary team. An individual who is not afraid of hard work, long hours, and who is passionate about using only the best ingredients.

Most importantly we are seeking someone who will adopt our overall goal of making the best food we can, and who will enjoy every minute of it.

Applicants will need:

-5 years of culinary experience and 2 years of management experience minimum.
-Fine dining, formal culinary training, and extensive cooking and production experience are preferred
-The ability to stand for the duration of shift and lift and carry 50 lbs. or more
-Able to work 50+ hours a week in high season
-Work with a schedule that will vary at times; possibly on short notice as well as working holidays based on restaurant needs.
-Food handling safety training will be required to attain a Wisconsin food manager certification.
Commensurate to experience starting at 35K, with 401k and strong benefit package
