The Castle Hotel & Spa, a full-service, luxury resort located on the scenic Hudson River in Tarrytown, NY, is seeking a talented, creative, Pastry Chef to produce Michelin-quality desserts for our award-winning restaurant Equus, and for our distinctive, renowned Catering operation. The individual selected for this opportunity will supervise and direct all phases of the Pastry Department production, with a focus on maximizing profit while maintaining high standards and quality.
The successful candidate will also partner with our Executive Chef to develop new dessert menus for Equus and Catering, and will possess a minimum of five years of experience in the Pastry Department of a high-end restaurant, catering and/or resort property. A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program is preferred. Ability to produce creative, on-trend, wedding cakes for Catering is also desirable. This position reports to the Executive Chef.
