|Position Description:||Spring Bistro Room Chef /Resort Sous-Chef|
Spring Bistro Room Chef /Resort Sous-Chef Crystal Spring Resort is looking for an enthusiastic, talented chef to join the team.
Position includes overseeing the Spring Bistro's kitchen, the resort's fine dining Northern Italian Restaurant along with providing support to the other resort's outlets: Crystal Tavern, Chef's Garden, Restaurant Latour, the banquet operation and outside venues. We are looking for a passionate, organized individual with experience fine made-from-scratch Northern Italian cooking.
Candidates also need to be a real team player in order to work with the resort's other restaurants. Flexibility is key in this position.
Duties include training and managing 3-6 cooks and dishwashers, monitoring food and labor costs quality control, working with the executive chef on menus and specials. This is a hands on position.
A qualified individual to have:
2 to 6 years fine dining cooking experience
Ability to multi-task
Flexible with shifts
Willingness to learn
Culinary school training a plus
Has a passion for the industry
Available weekends and nights
