|Position Description:||SMOKE restaurant is located at 901 Fort Worth Ave Dallas, Texas. We are a cook from scratch restaurant focusing on wood fire cooking. Most of what we do consists of working in a hot smoky environment working directly with fire, coal and ash. We source most of our products from regional farmers, ranchers and artisan producers. |
We are a high volume restaurant open breakfast, lunch and dinner 364 days of the year. We provide food and beverage for Belmont Hotel which is located directly adjacent to SMOKE. This includes room service and any catered events on the property. To be a culinary employee with us you must be motivated and self driven. You must be excited about what we do and believe in the integrity of SMOKE.
This is a very fast paced environment where you can learn and work in a restaurant that has the best of both worlds. High volume as well has high standards and expectations in the products we serve. Please email your resume and we will contact you if we are interested.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
-High volume fine dining experience
-Thorough knowledge of food handling and safety
-Thorough knowledge of from scratch cooking, all station mise en place is prepped daily for service from scratch
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Ideal candidate is one who is a self starter, self driven, self motivated, has excellent interpersonal communication skills, has a sense of urgency.
-Skills to achieve goals while maintaining a high expectation of standards in regards to quality and presentation
-Ability to work well with others to help maintain high moral
-Ideal candidate will be energetic enthusiastic, and able to handle large volume.
