|Position Description:||ALBA Restaurant an established upscale Mediterranean Steak House located South of Boston. Currently we are seeking a mature, experienced and responsible Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and galley sanitation. The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. |
Responsibilities include but are not limited to training and leading staff, quality control, cost control, assistance with specials and menu development and implementation. Applicant should work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, willing to work long hours. The right individual must be an experienced, rock-solid cook, as well as a skilled and effective teacher/trainer. Must be level-headed and able to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive, constructive attitude. Supervisory experience would be beneficial as well.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years full-service, high quality restaurant experience. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is also required.
