Position Description:
Executive Chef
The Pizza Bar is modeled after traditional Neapolitan and Roman Pizza restaurants serving wood fired pizza, antipasti and the addition of some pastas. Pizza Bar has an open kitchen with bar seats for customers to observe and interact and beautiful outdoor, Gulf front terrace seating.
Pizza Bar Chef Responsibilities
Culinary School Graduate with 3 to 5 years management experience preferred.
Excellent cooking skills and a developed palate.
Knowledge of regional Italian cuisine with understanding of the principles of Neapolitan pizza making.
Know the fundamentals of wood-fired cooking/working a wood oven.
Experience working with pizza dough on high quantity levels.
Knowledge of pasta making and cooking.
Must be able to maintain target food and labor costs. Have the ability to motivate a team to work clean, organized and quickly.
High skill levels in motivating and training cooking staff.
Ability to maintain a positive, empowering working atmosphere for staff.
Ability to foster a stable, mature approach to team leadership based on mutual respect.

Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar opened in 2009 and seats 135 guests. Pizza Bar is a high volume restaurant in summer months and moderate to high volume in spring and fall. Winter months are slower and busy during the holidays.
