|Position Description:||Job Title: Sous Chef of Research and Development|

-A certificate and or degree in culinary arts
-A minimum of one year in fine dining establishment, catering experience a big plus.
-Knowledge of compliance regarding proper temperature control and quality control
-Experience working with Excel and Microsoft word
-Knowledge of Chef Tech and File Maker a plus
Assistant to the Head chef
Brainstorming out of the box culinary ideas.
Researching and creating new menu ideas and assisting in the development of menus
Execution of menu ideas
Properly train techniques and preparation of new menu items to cooks
The Ideal candidate will:
Possess an in depth knowledge of food, design and menu writing
Have experience working in similar role
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Be able to work effectively as part of a team while leading a team
Demonstrate a current and in depth understanding of the catering and event industry
Continually strive to achieve personal goals and objectives
Communicate relevant business information regularly, efficiently and concisely to their team
