Aunt Chilada's is an Arizona landmark nestled adjacent to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve in the vibrant north central area of the city. A 650-seat, free standing restaurant with a personality all its own. Our building's history dates back to the 1890s when what is now the Banquet Room was then a bustling trading post in the Arizona Territory. You will find us on Dreamy Draw Drive---Ideally located between the Arizona Biltmore and Pointe Hilton Resorts.
Situation:
The Executive Chef, employed by Aunt Chilada's for over 30 years has retired for health reasons. We are a large traditional Mexican restaurant that needs to push culinary boundaries, not just react to competition. We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. We are open all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Responsibilities:
All food standards, through establishing quality specifications with purveyors, staffing, training, purchasing, cleanliness, and setting an example as an effective team member. Looking for someone special.
Qualifications:
Must be a legal resident or citizen of the United States and have the desire and love of culinary arts. We are seeking someone who enjoys providing our guests a special event or a simple lunch. Aunt Chilada's produces numerous banquet events daily. Bilingual is a plus, treating staff as one would like to be treated is required. The Executive Chef is a key ingredient to Aunt Chilada's recipe of success.
