Award winning chef at Gather Restaurant seeks efficient, experienced and passionate LINE COOKS. The restaurant's focus is on seasonal ingredients with attention to detail.
Gather seeks LINE COOKS who are eager, motivated and disciplined. You must be ready to work in a high volume kitchen with a constantly changing menu. Much of our produce comes to us from Lindencroft farm, which grows produce exclusively for Gather restaurant to Chef Sean Baker?s specifications.
You must have 2-3 years restaurant experience, and a culinary degree is preferred. Candidates must be motivated self-starters with excellent communication skills, work well with others and possess a strong work ethic. Organization, cleanliness and time-management skills are required.
The position requires managing and executing a station during service, practicing proper food storage and handling skills. The position may require familiarity with whole animal butchery and contemporary culinary technique.
