|Position Description:||POSITION: BANQUET SOUS CHEF RAPID CITY, SD|
INTERESTS : Must be willing to relocate to Rapid City, South Dakota. Seeking individual for Banquet Sous Chef position to work for small award winning restaurant company. Restaurant and Conference Center is located in busy tourist and business conference hotel.
QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking Sous Chef with experience to work, direct and supervise high volume banquet kitchen operations with strong hands-on prep and cooking skills and approach. Able to plan, build and manage food delivery for multiple functions. Need skills in food and labor cost control, scheduling, purchasing, menu planning, custom menu development and inventory control. Need ability to train staff and monitor company standards. Need good people skills, team-building skills, high energy and quality orientation.

Our restaurant is upscale casual restaurant with dark hard wood accents, antique tile, antique brick, storefront windows, booth seating, and exhibition kitchen. Seating up to 300 including bar and party room seating. The menu offers steaks / chops, grilled seafood, authentic pastas, gourmet pizzas and daily Chef features. Very high volume F & B sales; 60 % Restaurant 40% banquet/catering.
