This position is responsible for food quality and presentation of all meals in Harvest Restaurant at The Hotel Hershey including the seasonal poolside dining operation.
This position is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company.
The quality and creativity of all cold food products in Harvest Restaurant Scheduling and monitoring of kitchen staff Training and development of staff Maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards Ordering, requisitioning, and inventory control of all food products Menu development and advancement in Harvest Restaurant
Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license Completion of High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 3 years experience in kitchen management Minimum of 5 years experience in food preparation Additional Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of 4 and 5 star/diamond service standards and various styles of service Ability to convey information, work within strict deadlines, multi-task, and react quickly and effectively to challenges Proven leadership, motivation, communication and organization skills Ability to obtain ServSafe certification Degree in culinary arts preferred Working Conditions:
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking, bending, standing 85% of the shift, and working in extreme temperatures. Schedule will vary according to operational needs, but range between 7:00a.m. until approximately 5 p.m.; including holidays and weekends required. Good personal hygiene is a must.
