Fifth Group Restaurants, Atlanta's most innovative restaurant company, is in search of one incredible individual for the position of Catering Sous Chef at Bold American Events -- one of the Southeast's premier catering companies. As Fifth Group Restaurants enters its 20th year in business we continue to grow our company and therefore are looking to add to our management team. We currently operate seven chef-driven restaurants in Atlanta, along with an off-premise catering and design company, and we are looking to add to our team.
We are looking for one outgoing, energetic culinarian with at least three years of from scratch, high volume, catering and BOH management experience. This position includes all aspects of kitchen operations and a focus on superior event execution. Other areas of responsibility include ordering, staffing, staff education and food production. A qualified candidate must be a leader who can coach and develop employees as well as implement and execute systems in a fast paced environment. You must possess excellent organization skills, communication skills, have an eye for detail, and a strong commitment to employee satisfaction as well as the total client experience.
Qualified candidates will possess:
3 years experience managing in a high volume, scratch catering kitchen. A high level of passion and knowledge of food and cooking technique. Strong operational skills including financial accountability. Ability to manage, coach and develop employees. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. An eye for detail and a strong commitment to total guest satisfaction.
