POSITION: Executive Chef Job for State Game Lodge at Custer State Park, SD.
INTERESTS : Must be willing to relocate to picturesque Southern Black Hills region of Custer State Park near Custer, South Dakota. QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking Chefs with previous kitchen management experience. Able to help with menus development and year end inventories, start up purchasing for 4 lodges. Able to assist Corporate Chef solve food or labor problems with other lodges when necessary.
Must be able to supervise high volume line and banquet kitchen operations. Must have strong hands-on line skills and a good deal of smaller upscale banquet coordinating and production experience. Able to do 2 events of up to 300 at same general timeframe. Need skills in food and labor cost control, scheduling, purchasing, menu planning, custom menus, and inventory control. Need ability to train and develop staff and 3 Sous Chefs. Must be able to monitor company standards. Need good people skills, team leading skills, high energy and quality orientation.
BENEFITS : Season ending bonus up to $1500! Up to $55,000 base salary. All based upon qualifications. 30 day vacation at end of season. Park activity discounts; all set against the backdrop of one of the most picturesque areas of our country.
