Position Description:Longboard Hospitality Group is seeking talented, energetic and successful Chefs and Managers for several of our properties in DC.

We are a small, independently owned restaurant group. Our home base is DC, but we also have several properties across the country. We have a strong expansion plan in place for the next several years, so ideally we are seeking candidates that have the skills and determination to grow with us.

Our restaurants are well designed and our menus are Chef driven. We place strong emphasis on using quality ingredients, presented in creative and interesting manners that are served by a knowledgeable and gracious staff.

We have opportunities in our existing DC locations, as well as the two new concepts. A Latin inspired restaurant and bar called Boveda (The Vault) and a Brasserie style French steak house.

We are seeking to fill all positions in the two new properties currently under construction near Georgetown in the West End of DC.

The two new restaurants are complete redesigns by one of DC's most talented architecture and design firms. While the concepts have been established, the menu designs, as well as the beverage and service programs, are just outlines. We are looking for the right individuals to take these great designs and solid concepts, add the right ingredients and hit a home run.

We place a strong emphasis on creativity. Our Chefs should be able to produce contemporary, interesting and well thought out food. They should be passionate about what they do! Our Managers should lead by example and have a strong desire to please the guest. New team members should be excellent supervisors and effortlessly manage the staff in a professional and respectful manner.

We are currently seeking the following positions for one or more locations:

-Executive Chef
-General Manager
-Pastry Sous Chef
-Chef de Cuisine
-Sous Chef
-Director of Purchasing
-Assistant General Manager
-Bar Manager/ Wine Steward

Fine dining experience is preferred and a proven track record of success is paramount. We are looking for individuals with strong work history and solid references. We are growing fast, but need more talented and motivated staff to insure we grow correctly. If you can contribute towards our success, the sky?s the limit.

We believe in giving our Chefs and Managers the support and infrastructure to excel. All pre-opening menu and management tasks for the two new concepts will be conducted from one of our current locations at 9th & Dst NW, prior to opening in Georgetown.
