Position Description:
Lost Tree Club is a platinum country club in North Palm Beach Florida, with extensive services and food and beverage venues, offered to a diverse and discerning membership. Our food and beverage operations include two a la carte restaurants in addition to banquets and in home catering. Our food and beverage team is searching for a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill the role as purchaser for this department. As the food and beverage purchaser, this individual will work in coordination with the department chefs and managers in sourcing, pricing, ordering of products. Likewise, this individual will be responsible for working closely with vendors to create cost savings both in actual cost and efficiencies. The purchaser will work with the accounting department in processing of invoices and tracking of food and beverage costs on a daily basis and be required to execute financial reports weekly to the senior leadership team. Applicants should have a strong background in either F&B purchasing or food sales, having worked as a sales representative. This position will require an individual with strong organizational and computer skills, with heavy emphasis on creating detailed spreadsheets and reports. The purchaser will report directly to the Executive Chef and Clubhouse manager.
