StarChefs.com is accepting applications for an event planning and public relations internships to work on the StarChefs.com International Chefs Congress.
An internship at StarChefs is a substantive and challenging work experience. You will have the opportunity to develop and apply specific skills (i.e. research, writing, computer, presentation skills), as well as the opportunity to network with leading chefs while organizing our Rising Stars events.
Because we are a small company (19 employees), you have the opportunity to really make an impact on the company and the service we provide. Internships are for 4-6 months and are NOT PAID. Internships can be eligible for college credit. Last year, StarChefs hired on 3 of its interns for full-time employment.
In order to benefit from an internship with us, you will need to be a self-starter capable of doing largely unsupervised work. You will need strong writing and research skills, professional phone/interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a drive for results.
