Executive Chef

Position Description:Established diversified food service company specializing in off-premise catering and events is seeking a full-time Executive Chef who is progressive, creative and passionate about the culinary experience we deliver to upscale non-profit, corporate and private clientele in our resort location.

Our cuisine is Contemporary American with a slant toward regional specialties, and our business ranges from casual drop-off corporate catering to high-end fine dining.

Candidates must demonstrate the enthusiasm and high energy needed to be part of a growing company driven by excellence, a passionate entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to always exceed expectations.

Responsibilities include interfacing with catering sales staff for menu planning and pricing; all food production, both at our commissary as well as at off-site events; recipe development; food and supply purchasing; food costing; inventory control; interviewing, hiring, training and supervising all kitchen personnel; and kitchen organization, maintenance and health inspections. A flexible schedule is required to be able to work off-site events at night and on weekends.

Requirements
Candidates must have at least five years off-site executive catering chef experience. Strong communication skills, teamwork, organization, presentation and computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet and Email are required. Graduation from an accredited culinary school preferred but not required.
