The successful candidate will be a creative, self-motivated culinary minded Pastry Chef possessing the skill to create local/seasonal regionally influenced plated desserts, banquet desserts, as well as many other offerings throughout the operation. Prior formal training, management experience in conjunction with well-developed pastry abilities and desire to cook is essential. Experience in operating in a fine dining environment coupled with high volume is preferred. The position will involve interacting with customers and requires excellent customer service skills. The role is not limited to creating pastries it further requires the management of junior kitchen staff members, as well as monitoring inventory, food cost, and the general cleanliness of the kitchen.
