Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace has been a renowned banquet and dining facility in the Western Suburbs for 30 years. We are currently seeking to fulfill the position of our executive chef. The Executive chef is responsible for coordinating and leading his team in executing all culinary operations in the facility. In addition to managing his staff, the Executive Chef is expected to work in close partnership with the General Manager, Catering Director, Restaurant Manager and Banquet Managers while serving as a team player within the entire Drury Lane family.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Planning and developing the menus for our restaurant and banquets
-Managing the day to day operations by setting goals and checking on the work progress of his culinary team.
-Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
-Keeping a high standard in food sanitation and safety
-Managing and conducting inventory
-Handling of the food purchasing while working with multiple vendors to drive the cost down
All applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high volume establishment.
