The Cull & Pistol (and Lobster Place) is a busy downtown restaurant within the vibrant Chelsea Market that provides great opportunity for growth in a friendly and enjoyable work environment. Cooks are responsible for preparing mise-en-place, working the hot line, maintaining professional standards, working cleanly, efficiently, shopping in our neighboring seafood market, the Lobster Place, and respecting the high-quality ingredients that we work with.
REQUIREMENTS: -Experience in a full service, fine-dining restaurant (please no cafeterias, nursing homes, or fast food joints) - You must own sharp knives - Culinary certificate or degree a plus - Clean & organized working habits with attention to detail - Friendly, outgoing, energetic team player with a positive attitude - Ability to think quickly and multi-task in a fast paced environment - Ability to communicate effectively - Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays. - Ability to work with a cool head during high pressure moments
