Position Description:The Inn at Dos Brisas, a Texas Relais & Chateaux hotel and Forbes 5-star restaurant is seeking a talented and stable sous chef / Chef de Partie to join a talented group of chefs in our kitchen.

Executive Chef Zachary Ladwig came to Dos Brisas after serving in multiple roles for Gordon Ramsay, Bouley, Lautrec at Nemocolin, and the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin...all five star restaurants. He embraces our fresh organic farm produce and incorporates it daily into exciting interpretations rivaling the finest cuisine in America.

We are located on 313 acres of rolling organic farmland, forest, and pasture, one hour north of Houston, and 1 hours south of Austin. The Inn represents a bucolic escape for guests from around the world to savor freshly picked organic vegetables, expertly comingled with the finest proteins drawn both locally and from around the world. Our culinary philosophy marries Asian minimalism with French quality and American flair for presentation. As one of only twenty-four Forbes Five-Star restaurants in the United States, we require the highest levels of dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in our staff.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, high sense of urgency, passion for culinary arts, strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a professional yet high-pressure kitchen environment. The successful candidate will possess a stable work history and culinary school degree and/or experience in a four / five-star or Michelin-rated restaurant kitchen. This is a regular, full-time position. The Inn at Dos Brisas offers employee benefits including medical, paid vacation and sick time.
