The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and sanitation. The position demands creativity using local ingredients whenever possible, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.
They will embrace our open book culture and create an environment of respect for all staff and vendors. Candidate will be a positive leader able to celebrate staff's achievements.
Applicant will have demonstrated a passion, in past positions, for working with farms, humanely raised animals, charcuterie and artisan bread baking.
Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, have a great sense of humor, a positive mental attitude and an outgoing personality.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years full-service, high quality restaurant experience. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is also required.
Full service 3 meals 250 seat restaurant with 500 sq ft retail store. Fun Artistic environment. Butchery (of sustainably raised animals), bakery, pastries & breads produced in house. We have been sourcing all ingredients from local purveyors for 20 years. Turnover rate under 10%
