|Position Description:||FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR|
A senior living facility located in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a professional and experienced Food Service Director to direct and manage the daily food service operations for the residents in our care. The successful candidate must have a compassion for service and dedication to improving the lives of the residents while ensuring the highest level of quality and nutrition possible.
Daily activities of the position include:
-Develop procedures and staff competency to ensure that food is prepared and served at a level comparable to a high end restaurant.
-Develop and implement the food service model in second location once opened.
-Evaluate resident satisfaction through the implementation of a continuous quality improvement program. Respond to complaints and resident feedback.
-Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
-Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
-Manage all areas of staffing for the food service area.
-Prior experience as an executive chef with a management background in a restaurant, hotel or retirement setting
-Graduate of a Culinary of Arts Institute
