Culinary Concepts Hospitality Group is looking for an Executive Sous Chef to join our winning team at J&G Steakhouse, Scottsdale AZ. This position assists the Chef de Cuisine in coordinating all back of house operations. This position supervises daily restaurant operations, maintains culinary standards, and assists in the overall operational, financial and culinary responsibility for the restaurant. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team!
-Responsible for maintaining food quality and ensuring guest satisfaction
-Maintain department of hygiene standards within the restaurant and by training of all kitchen staff.
-Verifies that all portion sizes, a quality standard, department rules, polices, and procedures are maintained by kitchen team members.
-Motivating team to complete the food preparation process, ensure customer satisfaction, comply with company procedures and maximize productivity and profitability
-Motivate staff and maintain discipline at all times
-Minimum 2 years of culinary experience leading a culinary management team required
-Open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
-Strong understanding of purchasing, receiving, inventory control and stock rotation
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) a huge plus
-Willing to work flexible and long hours including holidays, promotions and weekends
-Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
-Ability to educate and demonstrate fundamental and advanced cooking skills
-Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, Inventory Management System and programs.
