The Restaurant Area offered at select Wegmans stores allows customers to experience a one-of-a-kind, dynamic eatery in a Pub environment, or enjoy delicious prepared foods from departments such as Coffee, Pizza, Subs, Sushi and other cafe offerings from areas including the Wokery, Fresh Foods Bar, etc. As the Restaurant Service Team Leader you will work closely with employees and be empowered to provide incredible customer service and an engaging dining and pub experience through creating an exciting atmosphere and providing the tools, resources and support for service staff to grow their skills, passion and knowledge.

-Possessing a thorough understanding of the importance of food quality and food safety in departments; ensuring the food presented to customers is prepared according to Wegmans recipes and standards, and team members are following food safety and safety guidelines while performing tasks
-Delegating tasks to team members and empowering them to take on new challenges; being certain to provide training, timely feedback and partner with management to give annual performance reviews that focus on their growth and professional development
