Well established restaurant group seeking energetic experienced Exec Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine for a new southern style restaurant. The right candidate will have exemplary experience in management, able to think on their feet, problem solve & really cook well. Pencil pushers and office dwellers need not apply, we want someone who really wants to build a team through hard work and respect, be a real team leader and player, and put a little bit of their own stamp on the place.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills; good communication and professional presentation; the ability to multi-task while maintaining close attention to detail and the ability to take and give direction in a high performance restaurant environment. Executes menu items by following established methods of preparation and assures quality of product by paying detailed attention to color, taste, texture, portion size and overall appearance. Spanish speakers are a huge plus.
