Dragonfly, a modern Japanese inspired restaurant is seeking an experienced and QUALITY Chef de Cuisine/ Executive Chef for its progressive, culinary focused restaurant in Orlando, Fl. This is a hands-on position that will require a varied work schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays (flexible scheduling). Must have at least 5+ years of QUALITY experience in upscale, high-volume establishments.
Some Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
-Knowledgeable and skilled in making, presenting and inspecting all menu items (kitchen and especially sushi/sashimi) in a timely manner and ensuring that the level of QUALITY is consistently achieved according to Dragonfly standards. Must pay attention to details!
-Training/Teaching/Sharing skills to other culinary inspired staff (Teach as well as being taught mentality. Must have HUMILITY)
-Multitasking and cross training between hot line and sushi line
-Managing catering on and off-site
-Strong ability to read, understand and create financial statements such as P&L, balance sheets, etc...
