Fine Dining Restaurant in DC in search of a qualified, skilled Pastry Chef to create and implement a 7--10 item menu of plated desserts using seasonal and local ingredients. Must be able to create ice creams, sorbets, chocolates and breads. Management experience is necessary.
Strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a desire to work closely with the Executive Chef, General Manager and kitchen team. The Pastry Chef should have a passion for the business and a yearning to grow their pastry education. Familiarity with completing inventory, menu costing and ordering of ingredients and supplies is a must.
