SUMMARY : Seeking Chef candidate interested in working for a new upscale American Bar and Grille concept ; part of an award winning restaurant company. Must be willing to relocate to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Our restaurant company has several of the premier restaurants in the state of SD.

QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking Chef with previous kitchen management experience. Need strong culinary creative side for monthly feature menus. Must utilize regional and seasonal products and ingredients. Some gluten free and vegetarian knowledge and experience helpful.
Must be able to supervise line and prep kitchen operations. Must have strong hands-on line skills. Need skills in food and labor cost control, scheduling, purchasing, menu planning and inventory control. Need ability to hire, train, develop and inspire staff, Sous Chef and line supervisors. Must be able to monitor company standards. Need good people skills, team leading skills, high energy and quality orientation.

RESTAURANT INFORMATION : Our new restaurant concept is upscale American Bar & Grille concept with light hardwood accents, showcase bar and lounge, exhibition kitchen, antique tile, storefront windows, booth seating and wine displays. Eclectic artwork and lighting displays. Seating up to 200. The menu offers great seasonal feature menu, steaks / chops, grilled seafood, authentic pastas, gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, and wine list that promotes pairings, flights and samplings.
LOCATION : The Sioux falls area enjoys one of the finest quality of life and business climate ratings in the country. It is fast growing metro area of 200,000 and a regional center for World Class Health Care, banking, insurance, education, retail shopping and commerce.
