Brand Ambassador/Market Manager

Position Description:Job Summary

Anheuser-Busch seeks a seasoned mixologist who understands distribution & sales of alcohol with strong connection to the Boston cocktail scene or an experienced marketing/sales representative with Boston bartending experience to launch a new, innovation beverage targeting high end bars/restaurants in Boston

Candidate Profile

-At least 3-5 years in the distilled spirits or mixology industry, with liquor/spirits selling and bartending/mixology experience preferred

-Keen understanding of the spirits trade/mixology community in Boston and an aptitude for building and maintaining solid relationships within the community

-Strong project management and organizational/time management skills with ability to work both independently as well as in a collaborative environment

-Proactive, creative, high-energy, self-directed individual with the ability to be the face of the brand

-Experience executing marketing programs at high-end on-premise accounts

-Ability to learn in-depth brand and category information and in turn develop and display passionate brand advocacy

-Excellent communication skills, including ability to speak and write with a high degree of professionalism & credibility as well as to command an audience and tailor messaging to various audiences

-Located in Boston area with access to public transportation, vehicle preferred

Key Responsibilities:

-Contribute to selection of target accounts in market

-Introduce and hand-sell product in to target accounts (with assistance of Sales Manager)

-Manage all associated account pull-through responsibilities: staff trainings, menu placements, category and brand education, promotional activities (i.e. sampling nights and programs)

-Work with marketing agency and Sales Manager to manage scheduling, set up, execution, tracking and recap of trade marketing activities such as sampling nights and account programs

-Identify, establish and foster collaborative relationships with key beverage alcohol industry influencers / gatekeepers on behalf of brand

-Regular & frequent account visits

-Participation in industry nights, etc. (both official/scheduled and unofficial)

-Events, social media and other networking opportunities

-Maintain call frequency at up to 75 on-trade accounts by end of one year with the time/ability to see up to 20 accounts per week

-Lead the education for brand with primary focus on training and mentoring trade personnel on brand-messaging & usage of product to help develop brand advocacy

-Know, understand, and adhere to the on-premise state regulations

-Manage weekly account reports and budget; attend regular team meetings as requested

-Stay on top of on-trade beverage and category trends and report observations

-Work with marketing and public relations agency to identify events & opportunities to garner trade and consumer awareness in Boston


-Employment on a year-long contract basis with opportunity to move into a full-time position
