|Position Description:||The Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur is currently accepting resumes for a sous chef. This is one of the world's most acclaimed luxury resorts and Sierra Mar has long been recognized as one of the top restaurants in California. With over 100 acres of redwood forest for foraging, a large chef's garden filled with heirloom vegetables and access to incredible local seafood- the cuisine at Post Ranch is inspired by our surroundings. |
As part of the culinary team you would be responsible for overall kitchen management, special events and collaborative menu design. You could not ask for a better working environment; from the expansive ocean views to an extensive contemporary cookbook library and top of the line equipment, the kitchen at Sierra Mar is an unparalleled venue to cook and create.
We are looking for someone with strong management experience and the ability to help run a highly demanding kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience in contemporary fine dining, preferably with international Michelin level experience.
