Mandarin Oriental, Washington, D.C. is currently seeking a cook to join the acclaimed 5 diamond restaurant, CityZen. This position will report to the Executive Chef and will assist in the production and execution of menu items as directed.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
Possess a degree from an accredited culinary program (Associate's or Bachelor's).
2+ years professional experience in a similar capacity with a focus on upscale or fine dining establishments.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal); able to take direction and read recipes as needed.
Be a passionate culinarian, with a commitment and drive to be the best.
