Wanted: Pastry Chef for an Exciting New Retail Enterprise
The person we are seeking needs to be personable, a team player, organized, efficient and above all a talented chef.
Responsibilities: Running a commercial kitchen that will supply an exciting new retail chain. The chef will need to oversee the start- up of the kitchen, which will include mixing and assembling pastry using multiple techniques.
Efficiency is essential in all stages including mise-en-place, preparation of sweet and savory products, including dough and fillings. In addition he/she will need to work closely with the retail manager to assure both the production and quality of the product.
Requirements: Evidence of formal training and hands on experience.
