If you are passionate about your ingredients and have a need to always be improving and pushing the culinary envelope, you are the chef we are looking for. We are a successful Seasonal American Restaurant with a focus on local beef. Our food is fresh, exquisitely simple and delicious, served in a comfortable and laid back setting. We are looking for an experienced chef who shares our passion to produce simple, visually appealing and delicious food using the season's freshest ingredients and proteins from the surrounding area. This is a hands on position, where the chef will have a part in everything that comes out of his/her kitchen.
The skill and understanding needed to produce a menu that delivers an affordable price point with a high value for the guests is essential. Our ideal candidate will have a great culinary imagination and a strong leadership style that will ensure a well run kitchen, without the need to throw pots or pans. Applicant must have a strong focus on seasonality, butchering and ability to produce charcuterie and fresh cheese. Our potential chef will be able to create seasonal menu items and still run the line on a Saturday night. The right candidate for us will have the leadership and management ability to join and lead a cohesive team that shares the chef's vision and passion for his/her food.
At least five years spent in quality kitchens and management experience are both a must.
